Stannage Lane

This is a unique project for a single dwelling in a nineteenth century abandoned sandstone quarry. The site is in the Conservation Area of a Cheshire village.

The permitted solution provides for vehicle access and parking at roof deck level, where all that is visible at street level is a modest entrance pavilion. Below that is the main bedroom level, and below that the principal living accommodation, the south elevation of which opens up to the landscaped quarry floor.
